The program is a four-day intensive training experience intended to prepare facilitators for guiding conversations about race. The training specifically focuses on facilitating the 12-week Witnessing Whiteness series. It covers facilitation skills, conflict resolution, strategies for explaining complex and emotional material, storytelling, reading verbal and non-verbal cues, and balancing the needs of the group with the learning goals of the series. Participants will finish the four-day program ready to co-facilitate the Witnessing Whiteness program with guidance, feedback, and support form Larry and Marguerite.
